Quarterly Unemployment by Ethnicity and Gender - March 08

This document is one of a series of information sheets produced by the BEIC to highlight Key Facts about Birmingham.

This factsheet makes use of recently published unemployment data by ethnic group from the ONS. It contains unemployment counts and rates for each ethnic group in Birmingham and also presents the data by gender.

The recent freeze on data from the Departments of Work and Pensions has delayed the release of several datasets, including this one. They have now released figures for October 2007 to March 2008. The March 2008 quarter can be accessed from the Download menu and the December 2007 quarter data can be accessed from the Archive section.
